Dear Parents,

 

    Reading is fundamental and begins before students enter school.  One of the media center goals is to ensusre and encourage critical thinking skills where understanding is gained in order to comprehend text .  While we assist with developing a life-long love for reading, we feel this love for reading begins at home.  Below you will find parent tips that offer ways for you to help your child be successful and even accelerate their reading. There are many tips, we encourage you to choose what works best for your child.  A child's educational success is a partnership. Ensuring there is a positive parent-teacher partnerships contributes to this success.
