Stonewall Tell's Media Center is an integral part of the school’s curriculum and student achievement. We are committed to ensuring that all students and staff have daily access to the media center facilities and resources; receive guidance and services that will support their instructional needs and personal reading interest; become effective users of information resources (print and digital); and develop an appreciation of literature and a lifetime love of reading.
Mission
To create productive digital citizens who become effective lifelong learners in a global society by supporting teachers and the instruction of teachers to enhance professional growth, student learning and achieve extraordinary excellence together.
Vision
Through collaboration, Stonewall Tell Media Program will produce digital and informational literate lifelong learners who are intrinsically passionate about learning through both print and digital plans with the ability to translate their knowledge into various formats and apply their knowledge across the curriculum.
Goals
The media services program at Stonewall Tell Elementary will provides access to information (both print and digital) and ideas that are essential to the growth of the 21st century learner. The media services technologist is transparent and aims to empower students and staff in order to continue their academic and professional journey to be effective lifelong learners who acquire inquiry based critical thinking skills.
